Article 29-8 R-2 Single-family Residential Zoning District
Section 29-8-1 Purpose
The purpose of this zoning district is to promote and preserve urban single-family residential development on lots with a minimum area of eight thousand (8,000) square feet. The principal use permitted in this zoning district is single-family dwelling with customary accessory buildings and uses.
Section 29-8-2 Use Requirements
The Use Requirements are the same as those in the R-1 Zoning District.
Section 29-8-3 Other Requirements
- Requirements and restrictions pertaining to area and width of
lots, the location of buildings and structures, the size of yards
and open space, the height and size of buildings, and the percentage
of the lot that may be occupied shall be as set forth in Section
29-18 of this title relating to the R-1 Zone.
