Subdivision RegulationsARTICLE 29-30 REVERSION TO ACREAGESection 29-30-1 Public HearingThe Council may hold a public hearing to determine whether the approval of a Final Subdivision Plat should be revoked if one or both of the following conditions exist.
Section 29-30-2 Revocation of PlatThe revocation of the plat shall become effective when a certified copy of the Resolution of the Council, as a result of their public hearing, is officially recorded. All streets, rights-of-way, easements dedicated or offered for dedication on Subdivision plats shall no longer be valid or of effect. Section 29-30-3 Abandonment of Subdivision Lots Abandonment of Subdivision lots and reversion to acreage may be initiated by property owners petitioning the Council for consideration on all of, or portions of, the Subdivision Plat. Section 29-30-5 General RegulationsRequisite actions under Article 8, Chapter 20, Title 28, of the Arizona Revised Statutes to abandon the streets and easements should be carried on separately and simultaneously with any procedure to abandon a Subdivision or revert it to acreage. |
